Marisa Ortega is a senior majoring in Marketing. Marisa has been one of two editors with the McKendree Review since her junior year along with being a prominent member of the McKendree Dance team. Since her time at McKendree she has also become a sorority sister within Kappa Sigma Tau, was secretary of the Marketing Club her junior year, and works in two student worker positions on campus. This year she was nominated by her teachers and accepted to be a part of the St. Louis Regional Business Council Mentor Network. Through this program, she will be able to receive guidance into the everyday lives of those in her field and makes connections through her mentors for future career opportunities. While being a full-time student, Marisa is also enrolled in the 4+1 program where she has begun taking MBA courses during her senior year. After graduation in May, Marisa plans to stay at McKendree to continue her MBA studies while also planning to participate in the Disney College Program to gain more experience within marketing before landing a full-time position in a prominent company.
