2/20- The McKendree men’s volleyball team, ranked No. 17 beat the titan Ohio State, No. 15, in a 3-1 victory. The win is celebratory as McKendree has not gotten a win against OSU since 2022. Nate Flayter showed out for his team during the match with 47 assists. Flayter was awarded the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association’s Offensive Player of the Week on Monday of this week, a deserved and huge honor for Flayter and McKendree. The Bearcats carried the momentum from their Thursday win against OSU into their Saturday match against Ball State, securing a win against the team ranked No. 8 in the league. The Bearcats 2025 team is not to be underestimated as they secure two upset wins. Their next match is against Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina 2/28 at 7:00 pm CT.
