The earthquake, the ensuing tsunami, and the nuclear
disaster that Japan has had to deal with in the past week have had devastating
consequences. Millions of Japanese citizens are without electricity and water,
while dealing with frigid temperatures. Tens of thousands are either dead or
missing. While all of these people are trying to recover from a huge 9.0
magnitude earthquake, the world watches as one of the worst nuclear disasters
unfolds since Chernobyl in 1986.
We ask that you keep the people of Japan in your thoughts as
they try to recover from what is being called the worst disaster Japan has had
since World War 2.
