I had the pleasure of joining Sabrina Storner, Director of Graduate Admissions, in an interview discussing what the Office of Graduate Admissions does for students. Ms. Storner has worked at McKendree for 20 years and started in Undergraduate Admissions and Transfer. Soon after starting her career, McKendree opened a graduate admissions office where Ms. Storner was promptly moved to.

Graduate Programs

The graduate programs offered at McKendree fall under Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree. The Master’s Degrees available are Athletic Training, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Education, Health Administration, MBA, MSN, and Teaching. The Doctoral Degrees available are in Education, Nursing Practice, and Specialist in Education. The staff at the Graduate Admissions Office work one-on-one with students to find the best fit and help them achieve their goals.

Ms. Storner said that the one thing students should know about the Graduate Admissions Office is that they provide attention to students to help them plan what path is best for them and their career choice. For example, Ms. Storner works with Education graduates, so she is primarily helping these students find which program in the McKendree Education department is best for them.

Location of the Graduate Admissions Office

The Graduate Admissions Office is located on the bottom floor of Old Main in room 102.

You can contact Ms. Storner via email at skstorner@mckendree.edu or via fax at 618.537.6530.
