Canned Goods Sculpture Contest – Campus-wide
Build a beautiful sculpture for a good cause. All proceeds will be donated to a local food pantry.
Monday, Nov. 16
Faculty Fashion Show – At noon in Ames Dining Hall
Check out your favorite faculty member modeling outfits that will be donated to a local shelter as a full set.
Tuesday, Nov. 17
Sleep Out – 7 p.m. on the Quad
Spend the night creating “care bags,” participating in competitive and educational games and making yummy treats.
Wednesday, Nov. 18
Empty Bowls – 11 a.m. in PAC 222
Purchase a handmade ceramic bowl, some delicious soup and spend your lunch time learning about ways to fight hunger on a local level. All proceeds go to Fairview Heights Food Pantry.
Chapel Service with Campus Ministries – 9 p.m. in the chapel
Join Campus Ministries and Tim Harrison for a discussion on homelessness.
Thursday, Nov. 19
Oxfam Hunger Banquet – 6 p.m. in Fireplace Lounge
Experience for yourself the concept of world hunger through an interactive demonstration. Hear from the International Institute about Syrian refugees.
Friday, Nov. 20
Legislative Action Day/Be a “Pizza” the Change – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in PAC 115
Be a part of the action and help encourage political change by stopping by our foyer table.
Saturday, Nov. 21
Service Saturday – 9 a.m. – noon at the Fairview Heights Food Pantry
Spend your Saturday in service, assisting the Fairview Heights Food Pantry with preparing for the holidays.
