Women’s Wrestling
The McKendree University women’s wrestling team concluded its 2016-17 season at the Women’s Collegiate Wrestling Association National Championships placing sixth.
Megan Black claimed a runner up finish, along with four other Bearcats earning All-American honors.
Men’s Wrestling
The men’s wrestling team claimed four wins last week with dual victories over Central Missouri, an upset over No. 3 Notre Dame College, Truman State University, and Ouachita Baptist College. The men have this weekend off as they gear up for the NCAA Super Regional.
Softball
The softball team opened up the 2017 campaign with a 3-2 record at the Steak ‘N Shake Classic hosted by the University of North Georgia. The Bearcats split games with Palm Beach Atlantic University, defeated Mars Hill College and University of West Georgia.
